Dolores Huerta Elementary School was founded in 2004 and now serves over five hundred students in the Northside of Fort Worth. The parents and teachers of our school came together in 2014 to found the Dolores Huerta Elementary School Parent Teacher Association.
Dolores Huerta PTA is a local community organization seeking to make every child’s potential a reality. We are part of the FWISD Council of PTA’s and Texas PTA. Our PTA now organizes several fundraising efforts to provide the school much-needed funds for educational and family engagement activities, sports equipment, library materials, and campus improvement projects. We also sponsor events at the school to promote student engagement, academic achievement, and cultural awareness. Dolores Huerta PTA is committed to the continued engagement of our students and their families, and to the strengthening of our community.
